Principal Software Engineer (f/m/d)

We are Parloa, reimagining customer experience with Agentic AI. As Principal Engineer at Parloa you will play a crucial role in defining and driving our engineering strategy, architecture, and best practices while remaining hands-on with coding.

• Code every day, delivering business value while staying in touch with the evolving codebase.
• Provide technical direction and set architectural standards across multiple teams and initiatives.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and drive architecture that enables global enterprise adoption.
• Mentor Staff Engineers and influence Principal Engineers.
• Balance short-term velocity with long-term technical resilience.
• Partner with product and leadership to align engineering decisions with company goals.
• Be an example and set the cultural tone for technical excellence at Parloa.

• 12–15+ years of experience as a technical leader with org-level or industry-level impact.
• Proven track record in designing and scaling enterprise-grade systems.
• Strong coding skills and willingness to stay hands-on.
• Experience with some of our stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, FastAPI, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Azure, Kafka, NATS.
• Ability to think strategically while also diving deep into technical details.
• Thrive in ambiguous and high-stakes environments.
