Introduction

You're starting your creative career at a moment when iconic brands are made by people who understand both craft and strategy. At Interbrand, you'll work on real projects for ambitious global brands, learning from experienced designers, strategists, and writers from day one. You'll develop proficiency in emerging design tools and AI applications to further expand your craft, while building foundations as a versatile, cross-channel designer who understands how identity systems flex and evolve across all consumer touchpoints. You'll be trained in how we approach creative work through our Thinking & Making philosophy and Three Lenses, building strong foundations in design craft while collaborating with colleagues. This is a role where you'll ask questions, pay attention to detail, and develop the skills that will shape your career.

Requirements

  • Business fluency in German and English
  • Portfolio or internship experience in design. You may be a recent graduate or switching disciplines. Your genuine curiosity and willingness to learn matter most.
  • Comfort with learning new tools rapidly, familiarity with generative AI tools is a big bonus, but not required.
  • You care about how things look and work. You want to understand why design choices matter and how they connect to what a brand is trying to do.
  • You're a genuine team player. You listen to others, contribute positively in workshops, take feedback well, and show you're eager to learn from experienced designers around you.
  • You're genuinely interested in brands, culture, design, and people. You follow what's happening in the world, ask good questions, and bring ideas and references to the team. You are curious about how AI and other new tools are reshaping the creative practice and are eager to understand both their potential and limitations.
  • You explain your work clearly, share progress and any blockers proactively, ask precise questions, and capture what you've learned and agreed.
  • You take responsibility for what you commit to and deliver it on time and to a high standard. You show initiative and know when to ask for help.
