Introduction
Rubrik's sales organisation is a unified group of elite cross-functional professionals helping companies across every major industry achieve true resilience against cyberattacks, malicious insiders, and operational disruptions. As Named Account Executive in Germany, you'll own a portfolio of large enterprise accounts, driving Rubrik's continued expansion in one of Europe's most dynamic enterprise markets.
Tasks
- Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts across Germany, combining existing customer relationships with new business development.
- Run full, multistakeholder sales cycles end to end — from discovery and qualification through solution design, negotiation, and close — across both net-new logo and existing-account expansion deals.
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline across your territory, balancing larger strategic opportunities with faster-moving transactional deals.
- Develop executive relationships within your accounts, translating Rubrik's technical capabilities into the board-level priorities that make data security a strategic imperative.
- Partner closely with Solutions Engineers, Channel Development, and Rubrik's partner ecosystem to extend reach across your territory and position Rubrik against the full scope of customer risk.
- Collaborate with and learn from your regional peers — the German team works closely together on deal strategy and account coverage, so you'll grow fastest by leaning on each other.
- Feed market intelligence back to Rubrik's leadership, including competitive signals and account trends that shape our go-to-market approach across Germany.
Requirements
- Experience closing complex enterprise deals, with the appetite to grow into larger, multi-product opportunities — we'll help you build the rest.
- A track record that shows both new-logo acquisition and growing existing customer relationships.
- Fluent in German and professional in English; you engage confidently with both technical buyers and executive stakeholders in either language.
- Understanding of enterprise buying cycles, procurement processes, and multistakeholder decision-making within large or complex organisations.
- Comfortable working with channel partners and distributors as part of a broader go-to-market motion.
- Willingness to travel regularly across your territory to build in-person relationships with customers.
- Background in cybersecurity, data protection, backup/recovery, or adjacent infrastructure/cloud categories — candidates who understand the difference between data centre and cloud environments tend to ramp fastest.
- Experience with MEDDPICC as a sales qualification and execution framework.
- Existing relationships within large German enterprise or Mittelstand organisations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce for pipeline management and forecast accuracy.
